2027 Lexus NX - interior Exterior and Drive (Wondrous SUV)

2027 Lexus NX Wears a Bolder Face and Now Comes Only as a Hybrid Lexus has refreshed the second-generation NX, its second-best-selling US model, with new styling, a redesigned interior, and updated powertrains. The non-hybrid NX350 has been dropped, so the lineup is now hybrid-only: the NX350h and the plug-in hybrid NX450h+. Powertrains Both models keep a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a CVT. Global figures list 241 hp for the NX350h, roughly unchanged from before. The NX450h+ gains a new, more compact e-axle and a lithium-ion battery with about 30 percent more capacity and higher output, adding 20 hp for a total of 322 hp. This PHEV can now DC fast-charge and offers an estimated 40 miles of electric range, up from 33. Lexus states the NX450h+ will reach 62 mph in 6.0 seconds, though the outgoing model tested slightly quicker. Chassis and Ride The battery layout was switched from longitudinal to transverse, lowering the center of gravity and improving lateral rigidity. Structural reinforcements were added to the floor, tunnel, and suspension towers. Non-adaptive suspension trims get new low-speed-valve dampers, the steering wheel is slightly smaller, and a revised variable steering ratio and a new cornering brake-control system aim to sharpen handling. Exterior and Interior Updates The exterior gets a bolder front end with grille-linked headlights and new taillight graphics, plus two new colors: Shaded Ivy and Incognito. Inside, a standard 14-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster headline a cleaner, more horizontal dashboard layout inspired by the latest ES sedan, along with a new toggle-style gear selector. Two new interior colors are offered, and higher trims add a Sensory Concierge wellness feature. Safety and Availability The NX comes with Lexus Safety System+ 4.0, including pre-collision braking with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure steering assist, and a standard dashcam. The 2027 NX arrives later this year; pricing hasn't been announced, though a modest increase over the 2026 model's starting prices ($46,570 for NX350h, $59,505 for NX450h+) is expected. 📌 Instagram ▶ https://www.instagram.com/MEDCARS.TV 📌 Tiktok ▶ https://www.tiktok.com/@cartvpress
