Why your arms collapse mid-swing
Grab a PT band, a resistance band, anything stretchy, loop it around your back under your arms, and just rotate. That's the drill. But here's what to watch for. If the band goes slack, you've collapsed your arms toward your body and lost the radius that creates width, contact, and distance. If you're lifting up and running into yourself, you haven't tilted that lead shoulder down enough toward the ball. Shoulder below shoulder on the backswing. Shoulder below shoulder coming through. When you've got that tilt and that rotation working together, the band stays taut, the arms stay connected, and there's no lipstick mark anywhere in sight. Clean shirt. Better swing. Same drill.
