In this in-depth Garmin Fenix 9 review, I put Garmin’s flagship multisport GPS watch through rigorous multi-terrain field tests—from technical trails to road intervals—and benchmarked every single data point using custom-built desktop analysis software, Tracklab. By running simultaneous tracking against the Polar H10 ECG chest strap and high-precision reference tracks, I evaluated the Fenix 9’s heart rate sensor accuracy, dual-frequency GNSS positioning, elevation profiling, and real-world battery life under heavy load. No sponsor talking points, no cherry-picked runs—just raw data, objective scoring, and deep field testing. All gear is purchased independently for objective field testing.
