Welcome to The Rankin Files. My name is Ted Rankin. I always seem to have several car projects going at one time. This channel is mostly about automotive repair, car parts and modifications and high performance driving. I am currently building a 2003 Mustang GT for open track events. I am constantly upgrading this car and you'll see a lot of content on that. I also have an 2006 BMW E53 X5, 2000 Mercury Mountaineer and a 2008 Mercedes Benz E550. You might see some content on these from time to time. I am pretty agnostic on the car brands I like. I just like what I like when I like it. Please follow along as my interests change.

BMR Suspension KM744 K-Member for 1996-2004 Mustang Un-Boxing and Review

In this video, I will be un-boxing the KM744 K-Member for the 1996-2004 Mustang from BMR Suspension.This K-Member is their Premium Version without spring perches to be used with coilovers. BMR states that the KM744 Premium Front K-member features increased bracing for more of a heavy-duty, road race construction. And that the KM744 isn’t available with a spring seat, and therefore designed for a coil-over front spring and strut arrangement.
