ASICS vs New Balance: Which One Gets My Marathon?
I’m running the NYC Marathon in a few weeks, and it’s time to pick my marathon race shoe. I’ve tested seven of the best super shoes and marathon racing shoes this year, from carbon plate racers to max-cushion daily trainers, to work out which one I’m trusting for 26.2 miles on race day. The shoes in this video: Nike Alphafly 4 Nike Vomero Plus New Balance SC Elite v6 New Balance SC Rebel v1 ASICS Sonicblast 2 adidas Adios Pro 5 Altra Vanish Carbon 3 I compare each shoe on comfort, cushioning, energy return, stability, fit and weight, and how they feel at marathon pace when the legs start to fade. Whether you’re chasing a marathon PB, running your first marathon, or trying to choose between carbon plated shoes, this should help you find the best marathon shoe for you. Which shoe would you race a marathon in? Let me know in the comments 👇 👍 If this helped, like the video and subscribe for more running shoe reviews, marathon training and race day prep. #marathon #runningshoes #supershoes #NYCMarathon #marathontraining
