3 Pickleball Speed-Up Combos: Where to Attack and Where the Next Ball Will Go In this video, I break down pickleball attack combinations with my 9-year-old son, Josiah, focusing on where to speed up and how to anticipate the next ball at higher levels. We cover three key combos: 1) attacking an outside ball into my chicken wing/dominant side and preparing for the likely counter back toward the middle or body 2) a mirror setup from a more middle ball, using a topspin dink to force a reach to my backhand and expecting the reply to his forehand for a put-away; and 3) a backhand speed-up down the middle into my dominant side, while staying adaptable because counters can spray toward the sideline.
