Cycling the Canary Islands | Two Girls. Two Weeks. Three Islands.

This bike trip through the Canary Islands began with a simple conversation and a spontaneous yes. After meeting at a bikepacking event and bonding over riding in a relaxed way at the back of the pack, Melanie and I decided to cycle together through Lanzarote, La Graciosa, and Fuerteventura—without a fixed route and without rushing. After intense weeks of work, we were craving something simpler: fewer screens, fewer plans, and more presence. For two weeks, we let the islands guide us, stopping often to take in the stunning volcanic landscapes, swim in the ocean, share 'cortados', and talk our way through long days on the bike.
