I've never understood why people choose to plunge into freezing cold water, especially on a grey day in the UK. But then I found the Watkin Pools in Wales… and I think it changed my mind. It’s hands-down one of the most beautiful places I’ve visited in Wales and even though I was dreading the cold swim, I enjoyed it in the end! I tried to be brave but apologies for the mild complaining and screams. If you are thinking about giving wild swimming a go, I highly recommend it, just make sure you go with someone else for safety, do your research on the location to check its safe and have plenty of warm clothes for afterwards. Even if you're not into wild swimming, I would 100% recommend visiting the Watkin Pools for a stunning walk! Hope you like my video, I'm enjoying making these so much!
