I tried an electric mountain bike for the first time with zero experience, attempting to climb more than 1,090m to the top of a 2,000m mountain - with over 1,700m of elevation across the full E-MTB ride. The challenge involved steep climbs, crashes, learning to control the e-bike’s power and finding out whether a complete beginner could actually make it to the summit and back down.
