Gasping for Air at 16,700FT : Hiking Nepal's Nangkartshang Peak

Hiking in the Himalayas! We made it to Nepal and we are so excited to bring you along with us on our Himalaya trekking adventures. Today we are climbing to the top of Nangkartshang Peak, which stands at 16,700FT! This hike was done on our acclimatization day while on the Everest Base camp trek. We chose to hike from Dingboche, at around 14,100FT, to the top of Nangkartshang Hill to test our altitude capabilities and prepare for the more challenging hikes ahead on our trek. Can you believe the views of Ama Dablam, Taboche, Cholatse, Laboche, and the other incredible Himalayan peaks?! What a day out on the Himalayan hiking trails.
