We Found Yosemite's Secret Waterslide!

Most people that visit Yosemite never see this! Hidden deep in Yosemite National Park is a secret waterslide that you won't find on any map. There's no trail, no signs, and the only way to get there is by word of mouth. The other challenge? This Yosemite waterslide is only slide-able for 2-3 weeks in the year, making timing your hiking trip to the slide right absolutely critical. With varying snow levels every year, no one ever really knows when the perfect window will be, so we took a chance and headed to Yosemite when the waterfalls had already had a few weeks of peak flow. Turns out, our timing was perfect, and we got to experience one of the most incredible Yosemite hiking adventures that exists! Not to mention, after hitting the waterslide, we were able to spend the day floating in the various pools beneath the gorgeous Yosemite waterfalls along the route. This is a side of Yosemite that most people will never get to experience, and we'd have to put it on the top of our list of the best hikes in Yosemite NP! #yosemite #hiking #californiahiking
