Chasing Dreams — S2 E4: These Milestones Will Make or Break My Sub-3:20 Marathon
Three key test runs. One big question: is sub-3:20 still realistic? In this episode of Chasing Dreams, I'm putting my marathon training to the test with three milestone runs that will tell me exactly where I stand. After the downtime post-spring, I need to know: has my speed recovered? Is my marathon pace coming through? And have I built the endurance to go the distance? First up — I'm wrapping up my race block with a shot at a 10K PB at the Saucony 10K in London. Then it's onto a 16-mile goal pace run, targeting 7:15–7:20 per mile, to see how that pace actually feels and how I recover from it. Finally, I take on my first 20 miler of this training block — the real litmus test for endurance. Three milestones, three different demands, one goal: finding out if sub-3:20 is on the cards. If you're training for a marathon PB, chasing a sub-3:20, or just love following an honest, no-fluff training journey — this one's for you. 🏃 Follow the full journey as I build toward race day 🔔 Subscribe for every episode of Chasing Dreams 👇 Let me know in the comments — do you think sub-3:20 is realistic after downtime?
