Because rather than coming with more power than its predecessor, the Blackbird actually has less, over 1200bhp less than the Venom F5 Evolution. Think over 800bhp from a naturally aspirated 6.2 V8 that’ll rev over 9000rpm – which will make it the most powerful N/A V8 in production – plus rear-wheel drive, a manual gearbox and an interior devoid of any digital screens.
