40mm Road Tyres 🤯 Aero Endurance Road Bike Deep Dive
Our road video lead, Felix, has built up a Cannondale Synapse to be the ultimate endurance road bike, but did he get it right? The headline on the bike is the 40mm Pirelli P-Zero Race TLR tyres. These are so wide, not many road bikes have the capacity to fit them, the Synapse being one of the few currently able to squeeze them in. Run at low enough pressures, Felix hopes these will reduce fatigue without sacrificing too much speed and efficiency. Do you think he’s on to something? Or is it far too wide for road riding? Let us know what you think and if you want to see a BikeRadar Diaries video of the ride in the comments!
