Skip to 2:05 for the flight... I didn't want to cut out the beginning, it should feel real. We had a lot of respect for this flight. You can already see that long, imposing grass gully when you're driving down from Chamonix, but it feels even longer when you're hiking the way up through it. You jump off, fly through a gap, and find your angle over the terrain. We had perfect conditions with no turbulence at all. After crossing the grass field, you need a good glide to make it back to the landing area with a safe amount of altitude. We were a bit worried about that, but we did a good job.
