Your brain is pulling your swing over-the-top without you knowing
This is the over-the-top cause nobody talks about, and it has nothing to do with your swing. If you're aimed to the right of your target, your brain knows. And without you consciously deciding anything, it pulls the club across the body to redirect the ball toward the pin. Over the top, every single time, completely automatic. So you work on your downswing. You try to feel more inside out. And nothing sticks because the brain overrides it on every single shot to self-correct for the misalignment you never fixed. Aiming more to the right to compensate just makes the pull stronger. You have to break the cycle at the source. Get square, give the brain accurate information, and watch how much the over-the-top urge disappears on its own. This is one of three root causes of an over-the-top swing covered in our full video on our channel.
