Your wrist set is already happening...get out of the way!

Shake your hands out like you've got water on them. That looseness right there is what your wrists need to feel throughout your entire swing. Here's what most golfers don't realize: if you're gripping neutral and you swing back with momentum, the wrist hinge just happens. The trail elbow bends, the wrist flops backward, and it stays loaded until it doesn't anymore. Nobody told it to do any of that. It responded to the forces already in motion. That's the whole thing. A true swinging motion can't fail to produce perfect timing. The problem isn't that golfers lack wrist hinge. It's that they're trying so hard to create it that they introduce the tension that would otherwise prevent it from happening naturally. Swing it. Don't place it.
