Te cuento la historia más rara, más sucia y más fascinante de la medicina moderna: qué son las células HeLa, por qué son lo más parecido a la inmortalidad que ha producido la biología,. Hay un trozo de Henrietta Lacks dentro de cada hospital donde te van a tratar el día que te pongas malo. Telómeros, telomerasa, el límite de Hayflick, el VPH-18, el gen p53… y el giro que ni Netflix ni Oprah te contaron: cómo el mayor milagro de la ciencia fue también su mayor catástrofe.
