Digging, hauling, constructing — all for this moment. Spring is here, and we're finally putting it to use. Our off-grid dream garden begins! This is what we built it all for. After restoring this abandoned farm from nothing, will we achieve the food forest we've been dreaming about, can we create our vision?! In this episode, we plant our first seedlings in the greenhouse, get berries and shrubs into the terraces, prune our fruit trees for the season and discover canker on our apple tree. We also run a full water test on the property after months of wondering what's actually in our off-grid water. The results? Not what we expected... 😟 Living off the grid in rural Italy means doing everything ourselves — the planning, the planting & the problem-solving.
