This week on our off grid homestead, we take our land clearing to the next level as we continue clearing overgrown land around the old stone houses on our abandoned property. Our homestead life is full of jobs that look simple at first but quickly become much bigger than expected. We’re removing stubborn roots, clearing dead trees, chipping wood for mulch, dealing with erosion, making biochar, and slowly restoring abandoned land into a self sufficient homestead.
