Peel off two fingers and watch what happens.
This is one of those drills that exposes casting immediately and most golfers have never tried it. Peel the bottom two fingers off the grip of your trail hand. Just float them off. Those two fingers are the main culprits behind pushing, casting, and any kind of manipulation through the downswing. Remove them and the club has no choice but to fall backwards the way it should. The minute most golfers try this for the first time, their impact cleans up instantly. Not because they changed their swing, but because they removed the fingers that were sabotaging it. Try it on your next range session. Start with a half swing and feel how differently the wrist behaves without those fingers in the way. Then gradually scale back up while keeping that same soft, falling sensation. Head to our channel to watch the full video.
