Your feet are a power source, and you've stopped using them...
Most senior golfers are leaving serious distance on the table and it's not in the arms or the shoulders. It's in the feet. When the lower body goes quiet, the upper body tries to take over and the whole swing loses its engine. The ground is one of the biggest power sources in golf and the way you access it is through your feet. Try this before your next swing: hold the club in front of you and just twist side to side like you're dancing, letting the heels tap off the ground naturally. Feel how much easier it is to turn when the feet are free. That's the same energy that should be driving your backswing and your follow-through. Lead heel lifts on the backswing. Trail heel drives through on the downswing. Free feet means a fuller turn, better rotation, and more speed without swinging any harder. The ground isn't just something to stand on. It's something to push off of. Full video on our channel now!
