You've been looking at the wrong line this whole time. Most golfers try to square the face using the top line of the club. That's not the one. It's the bottom groove, closest to the leading edge, that needs to be parallel to your spine. That's your reference point. And here's why it matters more than you think. Ten degrees open at address doesn't sound like much. But at distance that's 100 yards to the right. A small face angle error at setup compounds into a massive miss by the time the ball lands.
