Changing The Definition Of What’s Possible

For those who don't climb, Lynn Hill is a revolutionary of the climbing. She changed the definition of what was possible in 1993, when she was the first person - man or woman - to free climb The Nose on El Capitan in Yosemite - the most iconic big wall in the world. Lynn is just one of very many women who’ve inspired me in the time I’ve been climbing. On IWD 2026, I’m reflecting on the all of amazing opportunities I’ve had to work with incredible women for my work. Thank you for teaching me again and again what strength, resilience and self belief looks like. If hope to use my platform to be a space that empowers women with even half of that self-belief and confidence and to enjoy climbing fully and on their terms.
