Finding myself again after divorce, spiritual awakening, losing yourself in motherhood and relationships, home updates, new curtains, bedside chat and skincare routine — welcome back to It Girl Unfiltered. I cried twice in this vlog. Both times were necessary. This episode goes deep. I take an important call that I can't share the details of yet, I get emotional realizing how much of myself I lost — not just in the marriage but in motherhood too. I love my kids with everything in me but somewhere along the way the woman I was before them slowly disappeared. And I'm just now fully seeing it. I also cry when I realize that I'm turning this house into a home and the life I pictured entertaining in — the dinners, the gatherings, the husband I thought I'd be doing it all with — that life is no longer the plan. I'm okay. But grief doesn't ask permission and this is still a process. We repot my very neglected plants, put up new curtains, add new pillows to the couch, do a skincare montage to close out the night, and the bedside chat is one of my favorites yet — my spiritual awakening, feeling myself waking up again, learning the secret to writing your own life story and why I refuse to entertain negative thoughts.
