Together Through The Desert: 100km in the Sahara
Last year we joined forces with Ultra 4 Charity for their inaugural Ultra Marathon in the Sahara Desert, Tunisia – a multi-day desert race set deep within one of Earth’s most extreme and unforgiving environments. Across 100km of dunes, sand, and shifting terrain, runners faced blistering heat, navigation challenges, dehydration, and the constant race against fading daylight. What started as a physical test of endurance quickly became something more complex – a shared experience shaped by resilience, connection, and community. In the Sahara, the usual boundaries of endurance begin to dissolve. Strangers become teammates. Struggle becomes collective. And each step becomes part of a larger conversation about freedom, human potential, and what it means to move through wild landscapes. This film documents not just a race, but a gathering of runners, medics, therapists, volunteers, and organisers all moving together through one of the harshest biomes on the planet. Huge congratulations to every runner who took on the desert – and to the Vivo team who completed their races across every distance. Big thanks to our partner https://ultra4charity.com/ founded by Jason Fox (Foxy), Brian Wood (Woody) and Richard French (Frenchy).
