The road to the Sahara started in a sketchbook. Being a designer isn’t just about drawing things on the corner of the desk. It’s being connected to the people and the environment. Vivo product designer Val took on the @ultra4charity Tunisian Desert Race in the very product he designed – the Primus Trail Flow – our pinnacle trail runner. The Sahara Desert became the ultimate test. No lab. No controlled environment. Just relentless heat, sand and 50km to cover. What followed was more than just product validation. It was a rare moment where the person behind the design became the athlete putting every decision to the test... and he won!
